Where can I park my car while picking up the keys?
Stopping or parking in front of our office is not permitted. The 30-minute parking spaces are reserved exclusively for residents of Ostend. You can park in the nearby streets as well as in paid underground car parks. At 100 m from our office, you can park in the last section of the above-ground parking area "Zeeparking": this is a Shop & Go zone where you may park for a maximum of 1 hour. The parking fee for 1 hour is the standard rate. In this zone, you can always pay via 4411 or with the Seety app. The parking meter at the rear of the parking area "Zeeparking" can only be used for the Shop & Go zone. The nearest free park-and-ride car park is located at Maria-Hendrika Park.
How much is the security deposit? When will I receive my deposit back?
The deposit amounts to €300 (for stays up to one month) and you will receive it back 2 to 3 weeks after your departure. If any damage is noted, we will contact you.
Where do I pick up the keys? From what time can I pick them up? What happens after opening hours?
You can pick up the keys at our office at Leopold II-laan 3. This is possible from 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM. After opening hours, it is possible to obtain the keys via a key safe (only if the balance has been paid and after contacting our office).
What time should I return the keys and where? Does someone come along to inspect the apartment?
The keys must be returned to the office at 10:00 AM on the day of departure. If the office is closed that day, you should drop the keys in our office mailbox at 10:00 AM. Upon departure: empty all trash bins, the fridge and/or freezer, the dishwasher, and put all clean dishes back. If these rules are not followed, additional charges will apply.
Do you draw up an inventory report?
Before your arrival, the apartment is inspected by our team. Upon arrival, we ask you to note any comments regarding the apartment and to send them to us within 24 hours.
Can I arrive or leave earlier/later?
You can request this at our office a few days before arrival or departure. Depending on the occupancy of the apartment, it may exceptionally be allowed to arrive earlier or leave later.
What about my waste during my stay?
Upon arrival, you will receive clear instructions regarding the waste disposal arrangements in the building where you are staying.
What happens in case of cancellation?
A limited cancellation policy is included in your rental price. You can cancel in the event of death, hospitalization, or illness. Upon submission of the required certificates, we will refund the amount already paid, minus an administrative fee (after the rental period).
What are your opening days?
Our office is closed on Sundays and public holidays. If a busy arrival and/or departure day falls on a Sunday or public holiday, the office will be exceptionally open. Tenants arriving or departing on such days will be informed in advance.
Can I get an option on an apartment?
Our office does not work with reservation options. However, you can already book your next stay upon departure.
Can I reserve a baby bed or a high chair?
You can reserve a baby bed (€10 / stay) and/or a high chair (€5 / stay). We recommend making a reservation.
May I bring my pet?
Each apartment specifies whether pets are allowed.
If allowed, you will pay an additional fee of € 15 per stay for your pet.
Is energy consumption included?
Normal consumption is included.
I rented an apartment that includes a garage/parking space. Where is it located?
You will receive practical information upon arrival.
How many sets of keys do we receive?
You receive two sets of keys. If the apartment includes a garage or parking space, you will receive one additional set of keys for it.
Is it possible to view apartments before making a reservation?
Yes, you can make an appointment to view up to 3 apartments.
When do I need to pay my balance?
You will receive a transfer form by mail or e-mail three weeks before arrival to pay the remaining balance.
How much is my advance?
Your advance is 50% of the rental price.
Can we rent sheets and towels?
You can rent sheets and towels: €16/double bed, €12/single bed, €10/towel set. Reservation is required!
